About the Silver Fantail
The Silver Fantail is a dilute of blue: a soft, light silver ground with no creamy cast, carrying dun (rather than black) wing and tail bars that should be well defined. The standard gives it pearl or orange eyes, drab ceres and a horn-coloured beak and toenails. The pale, even tone is one of the most popular Fantail colours and shows the erect fan to delicate effect.
