About the White Fantail
The White is the classic and most familiar Fantail, prized for showing off the breed's great erect fan of 30-40 feathers against unbroken pure-white plumage. The standard calls for pure white throughout with dark hazel or bull eyes, flesh-coloured ceres and a flesh beak and toenails. It is this snowy form, often kept as ornamental "doves," that most people picture when they think of a Fantail's peacock-like carriage.
