About the Silver French Mondaine
Silver in the French Mondain is the dilute of blue: a pale ash-grey or fawn-grey ground replacing the slate of the blue bird, with the two wing bars muted to a soft brownish tone. It is one of the lighter patterned shades the breed is bred in, carried on the same large, calm, squab-producing utility frame.
