About the Silver Frillback

A silver Frillback, the dilute of blue, showing a pale dove-grey ground that in the breed typically appears as a silver grizzle (flecked with white) or a silver-dun-barred shield-marked bird. The soft, light ground sets off the curled wing-shield ringlets cleanly. Colour is a recognised Frillback variety, but as ever curl quality — half the hundred show points — is what counts on this ancient, much-curled exhibition breed.
