About the Black-capped Helmet Pigeon

The classic Helmet marking: a crisp black cap over the crown and a matching black tail set against an otherwise pure-white body. Black is a foundation colour class recognised by the American Helmet Association, and the dense, even pigment shows the breed's shell-crest and clean head line to best effect. A tidy old 'toy' fancy pigeon of German lineage, kept purely for exhibition.
