About the Yellow-capped Helmet Pigeon

Shows a soft yellow cap and matching yellow tail on a clean white body — yellow being the dilute of red within the Helmet's recognised colour classes. The paler pigment makes an even, well-defined cap edge especially important for show birds. A charming German-origin 'toy' fancy pigeon kept for exhibition, valued for its prominent shell crest and tidy head line.
