About the Silver Jacobin
The Silver Jacobin is the dilute of the blue: a very light, silvery ground carrying broad, well-defined bars as dark as possible with a green metallic lustre. It wears the breed's standard contrasting markings — white head below the eye, white rump, tail and near ten white flights per wing — against the engulfing hood, mane and chain of this demanding, foster-reared exhibition pigeon.
