About the Blue King Pigeon
The Blue King wears the classic wild-type pattern: a rich, even sky-blue body with black bars crossing the wings in a curved V and a darker clear-blue neck with brilliant greenish metallic lustre. Blue is the original base colour from which silver and dun derive as dilutes, here carried on the breed's calm, blocky, dual-purpose squab frame.
