About the Yellow-Headed Nun Pigeon
The yellow-headed Nun shows a rich golden yellow on the head, bib, tail and flights, the dilute counterpart of red, with a flesh-coloured beak against the pure-white body and shell crest. Yellow is a recognised standard colour and, like red, scarcer than the classic black; a soft, even, lustrous yellow that stays clean against the white is what judges look for. An elegant, long-established exhibition breed.
