About the Silver Old Dutch Capuchine
Silver is the dilute of blue: the wing shield is a light silvery-grey crossed by two dun (greyish-brown) bars, the breast graduating from light silver to a darker grey neck with green iridescence. Genetically the dilute gene halves the blue pigment, softening black bars to dun. The colour is carried under the breed's hallmark feathered hood, mane and neck rosettes.
