The white Old Dutch Capuchine is a self colour shown as a solid, satin-like, glossy white throughout. The clean ground makes the breed's broad rounded hood, fully feathered mane and low neck rosettes especially conspicuous, and white is one of the breed's most popular and frequently exhibited colours. As ever, it is the feathered head ornament rather than the colour that the breed is judged on first.
