About the Black Pygmy Pouter
The Black is a self (whole-coloured) Pygmy Pouter: deep, solid black plumage across the body and wings, set off by the breed’s signature bright white crescent on the inflated crop. The dark, even ground throws the white crescent and the bird’s tall, stretchy carriage into sharp relief. A recognised colour in this miniature English show pouter, gentle and beginner-friendly at no more than 12 inches.
