About the Red Pygmy Pouter
The Red Pygmy Pouter carries the ash-red ground — a warm reddish plumage (“red ash” in the breed colour list) — finished with the characteristic bright white crescent on the inflated crop. Ash-red is the colour most associated with pied Pouter markings, but it is also kept as a self. The warm tone complements the breed’s elegant, elongated silhouette, tall stance and feathered legs in this miniature English show pouter.
