About the Yellow Pygmy Pouter
The Yellow Pygmy Pouter is the dilute of red — the breed’s “yellow ash” colour — a soft, pale buttery-cream plumage produced by the dilution gene acting on the ash-red ground, set off by the signature bright white crescent on the puffed crop. A recognised but less common colour, it pairs the gentle pastel tone with the same tall, slim, stocking-legged miniature show-pouter form, no more than 12 inches.
