About the Mealy Racing Homer
Mealy is the racing fancier's name for an ash-red bar: a pale, mealy-fawn body with reddish bars across the wing shield, ash-red being a dominant mutation of the colour locus. It is one of the more frequent colours in the loft alongside blue and silver. The dusty colouring sits over the same fast, far-flying, strongly homing Racing Homer frame.
