About the Blue Runt
Blue is the original wild-type colour of the Runt: a deep, even blue across the body with a darker, beetle-green-sheened neck, white over the rump and two well-defined black wing bars. The cere is a distinctive damson or plum shade in blues. It carries the breed's full heavyweight build and gentle nature as one of the oldest, largest squab pigeons.
