About the Kite Show Tumbler
Kite is a deep glossy black laced with iridescent bronze, brightest across the wing shield, and is treasured less for show in its own right than as the essential breeding partner of the Almond — crossing Almond to kite gives the cleanest, truest flecking. On this short-faced exhibition bird it reads as a lustrous near-self with a warm bronze fire, carried on the same tiny refined frame with its bold round head and big pearl eyes.
