About the Red Show Tumbler
A self (whole-feather) red, ideally a deep even recessive red coloured solid to the root of the quill, with a soft sheen rather than hard metallic lustre. Red is among the recognised self colours of the Short-faced Tumbler and, like the other selfs, was traditionally rated below the Almond by fanciers. The clean warm ground frames the breed's defining short face, round head and big pearl eyes.
