About the Pied Black Strasser
The black Strasser carries deep, lustrous black over the standard marked areas — head, bib, wings, back and tail — set against the breed's crisp white body, the boundary between colour and white kept clean with no patching. As with all Strassers it's a large, broad-breasted Austrian utility pigeon bred for meaty squab and the show pen, black being one of its foundational and most striking colours.
