About the Pied Red Strasser
The red Strasser wears warm red over the head, bib, wings, back and tail against a white body; in the breed this is usually the even, self-toned recessive red (distinct from the patterned ash-red), prized for solid, uniform colour in the marked areas. It is otherwise the typical big, boldly marked Austrian squab-and-show pigeon, red being among its most popular colours across continental Europe.
