About the Self-coloured Tippler
A self-coloured Tippler is solid and unmarked throughout, with no mottling or contrasting flights. In the English Show Tippler the 'Self' is the principal recognised variety — a rich chocolate brown carrying a metallic mauve sheen, judged above all on colour and type — while flying lines historically favoured plain blue-selfs. Either way the body stays true to the breed's stamina-bred frame, all heart and wing.
