About the Manchurian Golden Japanese Quail
Manchurian Golden is the homozygous fawn colour — a bright golden-straw bird ideally clear of the black 'V' markings seen on single-dose Italians, with pale feather shafts. It is the double-dose form of the same gene, so it breeds the golden tone true while Italians do not. A popular, productive layer that shows off the breed's clean golden plumage.
