About the Range Japanese Quail

Range combines homozygous Extended Brown (Tibetan) with roux dilution, producing a uniformly dark brown bird heavily overlaid with near-black pencilling and grey backing, with the cock-and-hen difference of Pharaoh largely lost so both sexes look alike. It sits at the dark end of the roux-on-black series alongside Scarlett. A robust, productive Japanese quail.
