About the Scarlett Japanese Quail
Scarlett, also called Red Golden, is Rosetta (heterozygous Extended Brown) combined with roux dilution, giving a rich red bird with golden shaft 'pinning'. It is the reddened counterpart of the Extended Brown line, sitting between Rosetta and the darker Range in the roux-on-black series. A vigorous, free-laying Coturnix.
