About these chicken eggs for hatching
Our beautiful hybrids have been developed using a carefully selected variety of egg-laying breeds and generations, combining desirable egg colour genetics to create something truly special. Our Beautiful Breeding Hens Include: 🤎 Splash Marans – Known for their beautiful splash feathering and rich brown eggs. Welsummers – Renowned for their gorgeous terracotta-brown eggs, often featuring beautiful natural speckling. Olive Eggers – Producing a variety of stunning olive-green egg shades. Multi-Generation Olive Eggers – Bred through successive generations to explore an exciting range of olive tones, from soft sage and khaki to deeper mossy greens. Our Handsome Roosters Include: Splash Silverudd’s Blå – Bringing beautiful feather colouring and desirable blue eggshell genetics into our breeding programme. f2 Hybrid – Adding another exciting combination of genetics to our multi-generation olive breeding lines.
Not a breed but a clever cross, the Olive Egger is the offspring of a very dark-brown-egg bird (such as a Marans) and a blue-egg layer (such as an Araucana or Cream Legbar). More about the Olive Egger
